Zece medalii pentru sportivii sătmăreni la Cupa Voința - Extrem Kayak Slalom, Arad

Satu Mare Kayak SMile athletes participated on July 15 at the first edition of the Voința Cup - Extreme Kayak Slalom, held in Arad. More than 40 participants from three sports clubs (CSS Gloria Arad, Voința Arad and Kayak SMile) competed in three disciplines: Kayak Slalom and Kayak Cross- Olympic sports- and StandUP Paddle. The team, led by coach Ionuț Stancovici, consisted of 11 athletes who won 10 medals for water sports in Satu Mare. "We are always happy to participate in kayak competitions where we compete alongside athletes from other clubs. Only then can we test our level of preparation and see where and what needs to be improved. I congratulate all those who were part of our team, whether they climbed the podium or not. Every competition is an extra experience. Thanks to the Satu Mare County Council for supporting us and allowing us to participate in this competition" - declared Ionuț Stancovici, president of the Kayak SMile Association. Results achieved by Kayak SMile athletes The athletes trained by Ionuț Stancovici climbed the podium 10 times at the competition in Arad and obtained three first places, five second places, and two third places.
